We sell and ship a range of high quality lumber products to companies across Ontario, in Manitoba and to some of the northern states, including Minnesota and Wisconsin, as well as to our local market.

Located 20 km East of Fort Frances, Ontario on Highway 11, Nickel Lake Lumber saws mainly red and white pine, with small amounts of spruce, cedar and hardwoods mixed in. Our logging operation is conducted in certified and sustainable forest plans, which supply our saw mill, the local paper mill, Resolute Forest Products and the OSB mill in the western part of the Rainy River District.

32 Years of Experience

An established area business, Nickel Lake Lumber has been family owned and operated for over 32 years. The sawmill and logging operation are currently run by owner and president, Kendall Lundy. Kendall gained years of experience by assisting his father Jack with a small hand sawmill and logging operation for a decade before starting his own business.

Hundreds of log and timber frame homes have been constructed

with our premium white pine timbers.

Our tongue and groove and log siding has been used on many homes and cottages. Our lumber is also used for docks, decking, fences, garage packages, sheds, railings and in outpost camps. We use our extensive experience and put a lot of care into the milling process to ensure an excellent final product for all our customers.
